Community Events Calendar

CTV proudly hosts an electronic graphics based Community Events Calendar for local nonprofit organizations to promote upcoming events. Over the years, our calendar has become the most comprehensive, regularly updated community calendar in our region. The calendar airs on our channel between regularly scheduled programs and at other convenient times throughout the day and night, (approximately 6–8 hours each day) to reach the widest audience possible. Our online searchable version allows viewers to browse event announcements at any time right here.

There are only three (3) REQUIREMENTS of a nonprofit organization wishing to post event announcements on our calendar:

Official Proof of the posting organization's Nonprofit Status. The preferred form of proof is a copy of a federal 501(c)(3) nonprofit determination letter issued by the IRS. Another acceptable document is an official letter of determination issued by the Tennessee Department of Revenue.
Payment of the $30 annual Calendar Access Fee, allowing the organization to post up to 3 or 4 different announcements per month during the 12-month period following payment. Note: The fee is the same whether the organization chooses to promote just one event, or it chooses to take advantage of its full potential.
A valid contact email for use with a user account on our site.

Once a calendar account has been activated, our ONLINE CALENDAR EVENT FORM can be accessed by selecting “Calendar Event” under the “+New” Tab at the top of the page. You can also access the form by selecting Calendar Events from the left navigation of your profile page. The form requires only 6 pieces of vital information: Organization Name, Message Title, Message Text, Date/Time, Contact Number, and Background Image. Note: You can only access the form if you have created an active User account.
