Grades 9 – 12 will spend a week of intense animation exploration and creation.
Students will learn the basic concepts of stop motion animation using paper-cut, clay, and other techniques to create their very own works of art.
Each student will be given an arsenal of examples as inspiration, will be educated in simple processes that will allow the participant to create a number of short animations as well as a final work of experimental or story-driven stop-motion animation.
All materials will be provided, but students are welcome to bring their own magazines for interesting imagery, or additional elements to add to their work.
Deadline for applications is July 15th.
