Curbing Food Cravings Program Set for August 5
COVENANT WEIGHT MANAGEMENT CENTER OFFERS
FREE PROGRAM ON TECHNIQUES TO CONTROL STRESS EATING
For people who have difficulty controlling food cravings, Covenant Weight Management Center has a program to assist.
Strategies to stop stress and emotional eating will be the topic for the center’s next lunch and learn set for Tues., August 5 at noon.
Nurse practitioner Sherril Boozer,exercise physiologist Stacey Smith,and dietitian Debi Krieman will present: “Stressed Out and Using Food for Comfort: Cope with cravings and improve your health.”
Participants can brown bag lunch or a light box lunch is available for $5. To reserve a spot, please call Covenant Health at 541-4500.
Covenant Weight Management Center offers a free educational program at noon the first Tuesday of each month. The programs are held at the center located at 200 Fort Sanders West Blvd., Building One, Suite 200.
The Covenant Weight Management Center offers two weight loss options: the medically-supervised diet and exercise program and advanced weight loss surgery performed at Parkwest Medical Center, a Bariatric Surgery Center of Excellence.
