The Arts & Culture Alliance is pleased to present the 2008 Tennessee Watercolor Society Biennial Exhibition, the 31st statewide juried exhibition showcasing representational and experimental paintings in watermedia by some of the most prominent artists from across the state. Sixty paintings from over 200 entries were selected for the exhibit by the juror, internationally known artist Cheng-Khee Chee, including 17 artists from the East Tennessee area. The show will be exhibited at the Emporium Center for Arts & Culture in downtown Knoxville from June 6 - July 25, 2008.

Saturday, June 7 and Saturday, June 21 at 11 a.m., 1 p.m. or 3 p.m. you can ride in air-conditioned comfort as we roll past the K-25 uranium enrichment building and through the scenic Poplar Creek watershed of Roane County on the Secret City Scenic Excursion Train.

All rides include a narration about the monumental wartime achievement that helped bring an end to WW II.

On the 21st., we'll also be running the Secret City Festival Special on all three rides and will run the Classic Dinner Train at 6 p.m. That is by reservation well in advance only.
