Seventh annual Artsclamation! fine art sale
Saturday, November 8, from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. Sacred Heart Cathedral School in Knoxville Admission and parking are free.

Artsclamation! will showcase original works by more than 30 regional and local artists. The event will feature a variety of media, including oil, watercolor, pastel, acrylic, jewelry, pottery, clay sculpture and fiber art.

Free six-week grief support series hosted by Peninsula begins Thursday, October 9. The group is geared toward men who have lsot a spouse, child or significant other. Complete listing of dates Oct. 9, 16, 23, 30, and Nov. 6 and 13.

Classes are held at Peninsula Lighthouse Campus, 6800 Baum Drive in Knoxville. Solitary Men meets over a casual supper, and an experienced male therapist leads small group discussions.

The Oak Ridge Site Specific Advisory Board will meet at 6:00 p.m., Wednesday, November 12, at the DOE Information Center, 475 Oak Ridge Turnpike, Oak Ridge. Vince Adams, Director of the DOE Office of Groundwater and Soil Remediation, will give a presentation on groundwater and soil remediation.

The Board is an independent, federally appointed citizens’ panel that provides advice and recommendations to the Department of Energy on its environmental cleanup program in Oak Ridge, TN.
