LIT UP BIKES. . .
This holiday season marked the return of a popular festive event in downtown Knoxville, Tour de Lights. Residents are encouraged to get out their bicycles, decorate them, take photos, enjoy refreshments and socialize with others in a parade of bikes through downtown. This year there were two staging areas to get ready for the ride on either side of Market Square. One side for serious riders and the other for families, themed groups and beginners. This annual event is hosted by Knoxville Regional Bicycle Program, which is housed within Knoxville Regional Transportation Planning Organization (TPO) and supported by Metropolitan Planning Commission.
