Reader's Theatre

CTV welcomes community groups interested in producing "Reader's Theater" projects to air on the channel in the evenings or during the overnight hours. Reader's Theater projects could be an interesting option of special interest to youth groups, seniors, or other groups that meet on a regular basis for social interaction. Projects could be as simple as one or two people reading a story to several people reading different parts of a play. The production could even include sound effects!

Our Community Events Calendar could be shown on the TV as a background while your project airs, or you could provide your own photos or illustrations. As always, it would be essential to obtain written permission to use any copyrighted material (books, scripts, photos, etc.), but this may be easier than you think! To discuss your interest in this type of project, contact Kevin Jeske at 215-4352.
