CTV is the only source for LIVE gavel-to-gavel coverage of many of the local government meetings that help shape our community. To accommodate the busy schedules of community residents, CTV re-airs many of these meetings.
CTV hosts a Community Events Calendar for local nonprofit organizations to promote upcoming events. The calendar airs on our channel between regularly scheduled programs and at other convenient times throughout the day and night - approximately 6–8 hours each day. Our online searchable version is available at our web site at any time.
Whether you have produced video programs or community event calendar announcements for CTV in the past, we would like to read (and share) some of the inspirational stories you can provide, citing specific examples of the ways in which your program or organization has made a difference in the lives of community residents.
Providing access to local government meetings is a big part of our mission, but we know that many residents are unable to watch City Council or County Commission Meetings when we air them "live". For that reason, we make previously recorded live meetings available "on demand" at our online Government Meeting Archives page.
