Staff
Volunteer Community Producers have always been the “backbone” of community access television. During the past year (2010), more than 1,000 community volunteers donated more than 8,500 hours of service to produce programming for CTV. Volunteer service hours included production studio use, portable camera use, edit equipment use, participation in training workshops & appearnces as program guests. Countless other hours were contributed by many of these volunteers who used their own equipment to produce programs away from our facilities.
CTV employs a small number of people who perform various roles in training volunteer producers, facility maintenance, program scheduling, and other activities that ensure smooth day-to-day operations and future sustainability. Current full-time CTV employees include:

Part time Student Interns have always been welcome at CTV. Through various partnerships with the University of Tennessee, Pellissippi State Community College, Knoxville College and several area high schools, CTV has provided valuable opportunities for student interns. Typically, student interns are given the opportunity to work with our production technicians and perform work on defined projects. At any given time throughout the year, CTV may be providing practical work experience for as many as one or two student interns.
